Care fees are often an overlooked element of long-term financial planning. With government statistics indicating that one in four of us will require long-term care and with limited public funding available, the impact of care costs can be substantial.
At Ingenious, we believe that providing for potential care fees should be a critical first step in planning for a financially secure future.
IEP Care provides a simple and unique solution. A dedicated care fees planning service, it is designed to help investors plan for the costs of any long-term care they may require, while it can also be fully integrated with an investor’s estate planning strategy.
IEP Care Cover is a new service that combines the features of IEP Care with insurance cover for eligible investors who are concerned about the potential impact of inheritance tax (IHT) on the value of their investment should they die within the two year Business Relief (BR) qualification period. If eligible, this cover gives protection of 40% on an initial investment amount of up to £500,000 (net of initial investment and dealing fees).
