Julius Caesar at Bridge Theatre

Tuesday 30 January 2018 marked the opening night of Julius Caesar at the Bridge Theatre, London, of which Ingenious is a proud investor.

This is the second production since opening the theatre doors in October last year, the play’s plot is based on the Shakespeare classic with Caesar returning in triumph to Rome and the people pouring out of their homes to celebrate. Alarmed by the autocrat’s popularity, the educated élite conspire to bring him down. After his assassination, civil war erupts on the streets of the capital.

The production is directed by critically acclaimed Nicholas Hytner (The Madness of King George, The History Boys), with David Calder (Rush) playing Caesar beside other credible faces including Ben Whishaw (Skyfall, Spectre) as Brutus and David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) as Mark Antony.
